PRESERVING LIFE’S MILESTONES, ONE MILLIMETER AT A TIME!

A BIT MORE ABOUT ME —

Hi! I'm Maggie, the proud owner of "Maggie By The Millimeter." I started this business to bring comfort in a chaotic world!

As a photographer, I relish the role of storyteller, capturing the unique narratives of my clients through images that speak volumes. The most rewarding part of my work is documenting genuine moments of affection and excitement, creating a visual diary of cherished memories. I focus on personalization, ensuring my clients feel relaxed and comfortable so they can express their true emotions. This results in spontaneous, authentic connections—the heart of portrait photography.

My love for photography began in childhood, inspired by my mom's old film cameras. I pursued liberal arts at Bridgewater State University, majoring in English Literature and minoring in Anthropology and Sociology. Throughout my studies, I knew photography would always hold a special place in my heart. As a Capricorn, I believe in hard work and chose to start my own business instead of working for someone else. As a determined Gen Z, I'm dedicated to delivering my best work and making my clients feel confident and cherished, whether it's a wedding or senior portrait.

As an artist and social advocate, I am passionate about celebrating the diversity of humanity through my work. By focusing on organic and raw documentation, I create images that capture the richness and complexity of the human experience, highlighting the authentic stories that define us and the beauty of individuality.

I also specialize in queer photography. As an LGBTQ+ individual, I understand the importance of capturing the LGBTQ+ community through a lens that is inclusive, authentic, and empowering. Queer photography provides representation for a community that has often been underrepresented or misrepresented in traditional media. By showcasing the diversity and beauty of the LGBTQ+ community, I hope to promote visibility, understanding, and acceptance.

I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for all my clients, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Through my work, I aim to celebrate the love, resilience, and strength of the LGBTQ+ community and to highlight the intersections of race, class, and gender that are often overlooked in mainstream media.

In a world that can often be hostile to queer individuals, queer photography serves as a powerful tool for reclaiming our narratives, telling our own stories, and celebrating our identities. I am proud to be part of this movement and committed to using my photography to create a more inclusive and accepting world for all.

MY FAVORITE THING

If there’s one thing I want to do all the time, it’s watch Buffy with my partner and our loveable shelter cat, Rufus, with a wicked good Napoleatian-style brick-fired margherita pizza
